What our learners say!

What our client organizations say about us!

I have been connected to Joel from a neurodiversity community perspective even before EY engaged his team to help support EY’s NCoE in Mumbai.  Joel has always been a progressive contributor to the global neurodiversity movement and brings in a critical voice of a person from the community who authentically lends to the power of neuro-inclusion. The NeuroGifted team has provided EY superb support by engaging with our Management/Leadership teams, and directly with our neurodivergent members where coaching and support were needed.  I have found NeuroGifted to be proactive, thoughtful, and action-orientated.

Hiren Shukla

Global Leader, Neurodiversity Centers of Excellence, Ernst & Young, Dallas, Texas, USA

Thank you Neurogifted for the wonderful ADHD session that you held for our Employee Resource Group. The structuring of the session to meet the diverse needs of our JAPAC wide audience was perfect and Joel Godi’s lived experience shined throughout the session. The level of engagement in Q&A showed that Joel was able to capture the audience and generate some great discussion. The session has contributed towards achieving our mission of improving awareness, promoting inclusion & creating networks to support Neurodiversity.

Elio Sarpi

Chair of the Oracle Neurodiversity Network JAPAC, Oracle, Australia

Joel facilitated a session dubbed ‘Neurodiversity – Beyond the Spectrum’ for our colleagues from Emerging Markets (APAC, Middle East & Africa, and Central Eastern Europe). The session was eye-opening, engaging, and all-round informative. Our team left the session with more awareness and was equipped with resources and strategies to be more inclusive and support our neurodivergent colleagues. We have already had several requests for follow-up sessions as a group and individual job coaching. This is the start of a very beneficial partnership and Joel is the right person to spearhead this.

About CPD Accreditation

CPD is a holistic approach to professional development that emphasizes ongoing learning, skill improvement, and staying current in one’s field. It is essential for career advancement, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring that professionals are well-equipped to meet the challenges of their industries.

What is CPD?

CPD stands for “Continuing Professional Development.” It is a structured approach to learning and skill development that professionals undertake throughout their careers to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competence in their respective fields. CPD is not limited to any specific profession but is a concept applied across various industries and sectors.

Key aspects of CPD:

Ongoing Learning: CPD involves the process of continuously acquiring new knowledge and skills or refining existing ones. It is not a one-time event but a lifelong commitment to learning and professional growth.

Structured Activities: CPD activities can take various forms, including workshops, courses, seminars, conferences, online learning modules, on-the-job training, mentoring, research, and more. These activities are typically planned and structured to ensure that they contribute to the professional’s development.

Professional Relevance: CPD activities are designed to be relevant to a professional’s specific industry or field. They aim to address current trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and best practices within that domain.

Documentation and Recording: Professionals often need to document their participation in CPD activities, which may involve keeping records of completed courses, certificates, or other forms of proof of learning. This documentation can be important for regulatory compliance or career advancement.

Regulatory Requirements: In some professions, regulatory bodies, licensing authorities, or industry associations mandate CPD as a requirement for maintaining professional certifications or licenses. These requirements ensure that professionals stay current and competent in their roles.

Career Development: CPD is seen as a means to enhance career prospects. By continually improving their skills and knowledge, professionals become more valuable to employers and may have better opportunities for career advancement and increased earning potential.

Self-Directed Learning: While some CPD activities may be organized by employers or professional associations, many professionals also engage in self-directed CPD. They take the initiative to identify their learning needs and seek out relevant opportunities.

Personal and Professional Growth: CPD not only benefits organizations and industries but also contributes to personal and professional growth. It allows individuals to fulfill their potential and adapt to changes in their fields.

What is CPD Standards?

Based in the UK, the CPD Standards accreditation operates internationally and meets the CPD requirements and expectations for all professional bodies, regulators, and membership organizations across the globe. This means that a professional attending an accredited CPD training activity, outside of the UK, can receive a CPD Certificate of Attendance, which can then be used towards their national CPD requirements.

Due to the research undertaken by the CPD Standards Research Project with various professional bodies and regulators, the accreditation is recognized and respected internationally. Formal CPD Standards certificates are issued and accepted in a multitude of countries and across all professional sectors, and many of our internationally accredited providers report positive benefits from utilizing a British, research-led accreditation.

Why are CPD points sought after by professionals worldwide?

CPD points are highly sought after by professionals worldwide because they provide a structured way to continuously improve their skills, meet regulatory requirements, advance their careers, and stay relevant in their respective fields. Ultimately, CPD helps professionals maintain their competence and adapt to the ever-changing demands of the modern workplace.

We compiled some reasons here for your reading.

Skill Enhancement: CPD programs provide opportunities for professionals to update and enhance their skills and knowledge in their respective fields. This is crucial in today’s rapidly evolving work environments, where staying up-to-date is essential for career advancement.

Career Advancement: Many industries and organizations require professionals to maintain a certain level of CPD to be eligible for promotions or to qualify for specialized roles. Accumulating CPD points can thus boost one’s career prospects.

Regulatory Compliance: In some professions, regulatory bodies or licensing authorities mandate that professionals earn a specific number of CPD points to maintain their licenses or certifications. Failure to meet these requirements can result in the loss of professional status.

Professional Accountability: CPD encourages professionals to take responsibility for their own learning and development. It reinforces the importance of staying current and competent in one’s field, which ultimately benefits both the individual and their clients or employers.

Improved Performance: By participating in CPD activities, professionals can improve their performance on the job. This can lead to increased productivity, better problem-solving abilities, and higher quality work, all of which are highly valued by employers and clients.

Networking Opportunities: CPD events often provide opportunities for professionals to network with colleagues and experts in their field. Building a professional network can open doors to new opportunities and collaborations.

Global Recognition: CPD points are recognized internationally, which is particularly important for professionals in fields where global standards and practices are crucial, such as healthcare, engineering, and finance.

Demonstrated Commitment: Earning CPD points demonstrates a commitment to professional growth and development. Employers and clients often value professionals who are proactive about their learning and strive to stay at the forefront of their industry.

Adaptation to Change: Industries are constantly evolving due to technological advancements, regulatory changes, and market dynamics. CPD allows professionals to adapt to these changes more effectively and stay competitive in their careers.

Personal Satisfaction: Many professionals find personal satisfaction in learning and growing in their careers. CPD activities can be intellectually stimulating and personally fulfilling.
