About Course
Hello and welcome to the Workplace Neuroinclusion 101 Certificate Course. I’m Joel Godi, the Founder of Neurogifted and I’m going to take you through this course.
Workplace Neuroinclusion 101 is an effort toward building awareness on the subject of neurodiversity among the business and professional community. So, if your work concerns the fields of OD, L&D, DEI, HR, and Talent Management, or you’re into Training, Facilitation or Coaching, and even consulting, you’re in the right place.
Even if you’re not a professional in any of these domains, just getting to understand neuroinclusion is still good as you will understand during the course that neurodiversity is all around you. In fact, you’re part of it and this knowledge will definitely help you rediscover yourself in a refreshingly new way, and you will be able to relate better to people in social, educational, and professional settings. Knowledge of neurodiversity can be redeeming and enlightening in so many ways!
Please note that neurodiversity is a vast subject, and, in this course, we will be covering what is essentially an overview, designed to help you acquire fundamental knowledge and a broad perspective of workplace neuroinclusion. You will be able to clearly understand what your role can be in this field as a professional. Â In that sense, this is your starter course in the world of neurodiversity.
However, getting a deeper understanding will require further learning on your part – either by researching on your own or coming back to us for more structured learning options. You see, learning options at a professional level are extremely limited on this topic, even globally.
At Neurogifted, we are committed to equipping and enabling professionals to be neurodiversity ready and will be happy to support you in any way we can. Developing neurodiversity-ready professionals is a core part of our overall strategy.
This course is divided into 3 parts. The first part is on The Case for Neurodiversity. The second part is about how to Enable the Workplace. And the last part is about Hiring & Supporting Neurodivergent Talent. The idea behind designing this course is to give you the maximum possible information in the minimum possible time.
So, I encourage you to make an effort and complete the course in a disciplined and structured manner in a way that would suit your daily schedule. Â Please ensure consistency and avoid too many gaps for the best results.
At the end of each part, there will be a quiz based on the content that was shared with you. These quizzes are mandatory to complete the course. Further, make use of the Q&A feature for any queries that are based on the content of the course. I will surely respond appropriately.
So, let’s get started!
